Sat, May 20th - Bike and BBQ
Meet up at Rich Nixon’s house located at 512 Union Lane in Brielle. Bike ride starts at 1PM and goes through the local area. It's about 20 miles and mostly flat. Contact JoAnn Schumacher (848-459-2698) for
details. BBQ starts at 4PM. Burgers, hot dogs, beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided at no charge. If you wish to bring a dish to share and enjoy, please do so. We'll be watching the Preakness as well.

Wed, May 24th- Golf Outing - Meet 4PM
Come join the CJSC for a friendly round of golf. We’ll be playing the Executive Par 3 course. The holes are from 85 to 170 yards so even those new to the sport should have fun. We’ll be doing 18 holes (9 holes twice around). Total time is estimated to be 3 hours. The cost is $24 walking or with your own hand cart. You can rent a hand cart for $6.50 or an electric cart for $14. Sorry but even if you can only do 9 holes the cost is still $24; that’s the policy for groups. I’ll be paying up front and you can reimburse me the day of the event. We’ll go for food and drinks afterwards. For more info here’s the website for the course: http://belairegolfcourse.com.

Sat June 3rd Kayak trip. -Cedar Creek June 3, 2023
We will again explore the pristine fresh, pure waters of Cedar Creek for a 3-hour paddle downstream. It is touted as one of the prettier rivers in the Pine Barrens. We go through white cedar swamps, lowland forests and freshwater marshes. Meet at FROG, Exit 77 GSP at 9:30 1800 Double Trouble Rd, Beachwood NJ.Bring snacks and drinks (no alcohol on river). Afterwards we are invited to Linda Casserly’s for BBQ, Cheeseburgers (beef or vegs), Hot Dogs (all beef), Potato salad etc. BYO Drinks (soft and/or hard).
There are a limited number of spaces available so you must make a reservation by EMAIL [email protected] with a cut off date of May 29 for a Kayak or to transport your own kayak and equipment. Rental cost is $68 per kayak (includes all equipment) or $45 for transport. The price includes the food, tax, tips and a donation to Club. Come join the CJSC for dinner and great conversation at Charlie's of Lincroft at 7PM. Located at 700 Newman Springs Road Lincroft, NJ 07738. This is the new restaurant that replaced the famous Lincroft Inn. It is quite popular come out and try something new.
