      Oktoberfest Weekend

Of course it's March and we just celebrated St. Patty's Day! Why not keep the party going and think of spring skiing Oktoberfest style. So grab a stein, your lederhosen or dirndl and don't forget a pretzel too. Ski all day and then come back to the lodge for some great German style home cooking prepared for you by our hosts Chris Guenther and Sharon Orcutt. (Of course we will have a bier stein hoisting contest!) Who is going to be this year's winners?

Join CJSC for some spring skiing on the Drive Up weekend, April 3-5th

On Saturday your trip captains will get out early (serve your own breakfast options) to secure a parking & tent spot for the Bear Mountain Mogul challenge. Come watch the bump competition, getting underway around 9 AM, with an included parking lot picnic lunch. Aside from watching the bumpers, there will be two bands throughout the day and a general scene at the base (usually involving costumes, mud, and a good party). If you don’t make it to the parking lot on first attempt or by skiing there, free shuttles will run starting at 8AM. The Skye Peak Express Quad will also open after hours at 4:30 to get you back to your car if you stay for the whole party. Happy Hour will be at a designated access road bar, and then back at the lodge we’ll have what everyone typically eats for an easter dinner — Caribbean style tacos, rice and beans, guacamole, and plenty of other fresh spring delights. Hopefully with a fire pit gathering Saturday evening. On Sunday, we’ll have a hot Easter morning breakfast for those that want to wait for the sun to defrost the slopes a bit, and see what the Easter Bunny brings

    Payment is Due ASAP

    • First 20 Signups are guaranteed a bottom bunk.
    • Cancellation after March 23rd: $35 (food $)
